Projects

Australia’s table grape growers pay levies which are invested back into initiatives to increase industry sustainability, productivity and profitability.

The ATGA facilitates and supports various projects which are made possible through levy funds invested as part of the Hort Innovation Table Grape Fund and, in the case of R&D projects, contributions from the Australian Government.

The table grape levy and charge was first introduced 1 October 2002. Table grapes that are produced in Australia and sold by the producer or that are exported will attract a levy or charge. Hort Innovation and Plant Health Australia are responsible for the expenditure of the table grapes levy and charge.
