SONERA SEEDLESS®
SONERA SEEDLESS® brand (Sugrathirtyeight variety) is a mid-season red seedless, harvested in Australia from February to late March. Sun World’s SONERA SEEDLESS® brand is known for its large oval bright red berries packed with sweet flavour. It is a good snack alternative to mid-season red seedless varieties during the summer time.
SUGAR CRISP™
With its medium-to-large elongated berries, Sugar Crisp™ (IFG Eleven) is a very late season green seedless. Combining excellent colour, crispy firm texture and a good neutral flavour of low acidity, Sugar Crisp™ is very productive, stores well, can be spur pruned and has excellent stem attachment.
SUNRISE RED
SunriseRed (Sheegene 8) is an early red seedless variety, harvested seven days before Flame (late December/early January). Due to its availability, colour and flavour, it is marketed as a “Christmas/New Year grape”. Sunrise Red has strong vigour, very good fertility and produces large berries about 20–22mm.
SWEET CELEBRATION™
Sweet Celebration™ (IFG Three) is a mid-to-late season brilliant red seedless. A naturally large oval-shaped berry, Sweet Celebration™ colours well, producing a crispy firm textured berry in medium clusters, with high yields and low production costs.
SWEET FAVORS™
With its firm flesh and good flavour, Sweet Favors™ (IFG Sixteen) is an easily grown late season black seedless. Oval to elongated berries produce medium to large clusters in this high yielding variety.
SWEET GLOBE™
Sweet Globe™ (IFG Ten) is a mid-season green seedless, producing naturally large round to oval berries. Combining a thin skin, very crunchy texture and good flavour – with low acidity – Sweet Globe™ has high productivity and excellent storage results with little hand work required.
SWEET JOY™
A high productivity variety, Sweet Joy™ (IFG Seventeen) is a mid-season black seedless producing elongated oval shaped berries with medium to large clusters. Sweet Joy™ is very firm and crisp, and colours easily to full black.
SWEET SAPPHIRE™
A mid-season black seedless, Sweet Sapphire™ (IFG Six) is a naturally large berry with an unusual shape – elongated tubular with a dimpled end in loose bunches. Sweet Sapphire™ colours very well naturally, producing crisp berries with good flavour that store well and do not shatter.
THOMPSON SEEDLESS
An oval-berried, pale to amber green, seedless variety of grape widely cultivated worldwide for table use and for drying as raisins. Thompson Seedless is very sweet and produces thin clusters of large berries in large, long bunches. This is currently the number one variety grown in Australia.
TIMCO
Timco™ (Sheegene 13) is a late season red seedless, producing large heavy crops of extra large, uniform berries. Timco’s sweet neutral fruity flavours are complemented by its pink to red colour.
