Managing redback spiders in table grapes

Redback spiders (Latrodectus hasselti) are found across Australia, in all table grape-growing regions.

This factsheet aims to provide information on managing the risk of injury to consumers and workers and help prevent contamination of table grapes in the vineyard, at harvest, and during packing and transportation.
